At the Orpheus Centre, our mission is to inspire and empower young disabled students with a passion for the arts to live fulfilling and independent lives. Here, students are encouraged to explore what is possible, discover their strengths and develop the confidence, skills and independence to shape their own futures.
But none of that can happen if people don’t know we exist, so that is where your support can help us reach further.
Creativity is everywhere; opportunity isn’t.
The more people who know about the Orpheus Centre, the more people can support our work and the opportunities we can create. Not everyone is in a position to give financially, but giving isn’t the only way to make a difference. One conversation with a friend, one post shared on social media or one introduction to a local business or community group can have a ripple effect that reaches far beyond what anyone could imagine.
For many young people, September means a new beginning. A new college, new friends, new experiences and the chance to discover what they’re capable of. But for too many young disabled adults, those opportunities aren’t always easy to find.
