Through the commitment and enthusiasm of every person who works at Orpheus we have been able to transform the lives of hundreds of young disabled adults and their families over the past twenty-five years.

Andrew Willetts

Andrew Willetts

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Willetts joined The Orpheus Centre as CEO in January 2025, bringing senior leadership experience across the charity sector, local government, the NHS and education. He is committed to strengthening Orpheus’s impact and supporting disabled young people to build clear pathways to independence. Andrew leads with a strong focus on vision, mission and culture, promoting collaboration, innovation and long‑term sustainability while building on the charity’s legacy. He is married with two children, enjoys football as a player and team manager in Kent, and is a trustee of the YMCA, supporting vulnerable young people with focus on crime, homelessness, mental health, education, training and employment.

Chloe joined Orpheus in 2016 as Deputy Head of Learning, moving onto Head of Learning and then undertaking the role of Orpheus’ first Principal. Chloe’s focus and passion has always been supporting others to achieve positive outcomes.

Moira Clifton

Moira joined Orpheus in summer 2016 and is the Chief Operating Officer. She brings over 20 years’ experience in fundraising, marketing and communications across the charity sector, having worked with organisations including Marie Curie and the Willow Foundation. At Orpheus, Moira oversees day‑to‑day operations and works closely with colleagues and trustees to support the Centre’s long‑term development and sustainability. A musician herself, she has a long‑standing love of live performance, and believes deeply in the confidence, connection and self‑expression that creativity can unlock.

Jay Harris started in the HR department at the Orpheus Centre in January 2018.

Sally Barney

Head of Income & Growth

Sally Barney

Head of Income & Growth

Sally joined Orpheus in January 2025 with around 30 years of experience in fundraising in charities including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Parks Foundation, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards and most recently Fields in Trust.  At Orpheus she leads the fundraising team who will also be working to achieve the ambitious capital appeal target needed to build our new Arts Centre at the college. In her spare time, she sings in Rock Choir, sails boats, rides horses and does agility with her poodle, Pippin.

Sam Owen

Head of Care

Sam joined in 2012 when it was a relatively new service. Sam has 20 years’ experience, working in the care sector in different fields and services. Before Orpheus, Sam worked for a local community based domiciliary service as the Registered Manager and oversaw a service with 30 individuals and two supported living projects.

Tom Harris

Tom Harris

Head of Facilities

om Harris joined the Estates Team in June 2019. He is NEEBOSH (a) Qualified in Health and Safety and has a City and Guilds qualification in Water Management Control and Legionella. He is also a qualified Plumber.

Trustees

Trustees are responsible for making sure the best decisions are made for Orpheus and its students, staff and volunteers. They delegate day-to-day leadership to the Chief Executive Andrew Willetts who is responsible for the operational management with support from the Senior Management Team.
