Our outreach programme enriches our curriculum, strengthens our charity’s mission, and creates powerful opportunities for students to connect with people and organisations beyond Orpheus.
Through these partnerships, students grow in confidence, discover new talents, and develop practical skills that support greater independence and future employment. From song writing and creative arts to design projects, dance, and drama workshops, every outreach experience is crafted to spark imagination, champion inclusion, and empower every participant to thrive.
Outreach projects:
Our students on stage
During their three years at Orpheus, our students step into the spotlight again and again, sharing their extraordinary talents with audiences near and far. Every performance is more than a moment on stage — it’s a powerful act of self-expression that builds confidence, resilience, and a deep sense of pride. As they sing, dance, act, and create, our students challenge assumptions about disability and open people’s eyes to what is truly possible. They don’t just perform; they shift perspectives and change hearts.
In recent years, their outreach performances have lit up some of the country’s most iconic venues through our Orpheus events, including the London Coliseum, Alexandra Palace, Windsor Castle, Sadler’s Wells Theatre, St Martin-in-the-Fields, and The Royal Albert Hall. Each stage they step onto becomes a platform for inclusion, creativity, and hope — leaving a lasting impact on every audience they meet.
We invite corporate organisations and our supporters to stand with us in championing this life-changing work. By sponsoring performances, supporting outreach projects, offering staff volunteering, or collaborating on creative initiatives, you can help our young people continue to shine. Partnering with Orpheus means investing in talent, empowerment, and a future where every young person is seen for their potential, not their limitations.
