Orpheus students performing at Alexandra Palace

Our College

We are an Arts College for young disabled adults, 18-25. So, you'll be passionate about the arts. Whether you like performing on stage as an aspiring actor or dancer, helping backstage in the sound and lighting booth or you love to paint, create or design. There will be something for you here at the Orpheus Centre.

Message from Principal, Chloe Smith

I’m delighted that you are thinking about joining the Orpheus community. We work very hard to make sure that Orpheus is a vibrant, creative, and supportive place where there’s always something inspiring happening – especially fun!

At Orpheus, we believe in big dreams, trying new things, and supporting each other every step of the way. We are always thinking of new ideas and activities, so it fits your needs and aspirations – both now and in the future. We listen hard to what you want to learn and how you want to learn it. This helps us shape our lessons and keep up with changes in the world of work and community.

We’re passionate about working with professionals from the arts and creative industries. This gives you practical learning and real world experience. It helps you build the skills you need to support your independence and plans for your future. You will be proud to be part of the Orpheus Centre – and we are very proud of all the students. We hope that you will join us  – and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do!
