The report, prepared by Altura Advisory, provides compelling evidence that the Orpheus Centre’s specialist education, supported living and arts programmes are helping young people develop greater independence, confidence and employability skills, while also generating positive social and economic value.
Findings show that students leaving the Orpheus Centre are better equipped to live independently, participate in their communities and pursue further education, training and employment opportunities. The report also highlights the vital role it plays in reducing social isolation, increasing wellbeing and supporting families.

The publication of the report comes as the Orpheus Centre has secured planning permission to expand its provision with a new Arts Centre; and will form the basis of a compelling business case for the investment needed as it continues its vision of an inclusive world where disabled young people, with a passion for the arts and desire to live and work independently, can achieve their aspirations.
