We are proud to announce our Disability Confident Leader accreditation!

Here at the Orpheus Centre, we champion the opportunities for disabled people to get into work and empower the Orpheus students to gain the skills and qualifications they need to follow their chosen career paths. We are always encouraging employers to recruit more disabled people to their workforce, and so achieving the Disability Confident Leader accreditation ourselves was so important.

We are enormously grateful to Deborah Leveroy PhD and Mark Woodward at neurobox for their help and enthusiasm in enabling us to gain this very important recognition as an employer who welcomes and supports disabled people. We have continued to improve as an organization during the process, and have seen an increase in the number of people with disabilities applying for and securing a job with us.

We would love to chat to other businesses who are thinking of becoming accredited, so send an email to [email protected], and together we can improve opportunities for disabled people.
