Where your money goes When you fundraise for or donate to Orpheus your money enables more young disabled adults to live and learn independently. Read some of our case studies to find out the impact your money has on students at Orpheus. There are always projects in the works to improve the centre, the study programmes and thus the students' experience at Orpheus. A recent appeal raised funds for a new 'life skills' kitchen and independence hub. With the help of our supporters, the new kitchen is now open enabling us to deliver a first class life skills and catering curriculum to our current cohort of students and many more for years to come. We also recently put money into our Transitions Pathways Project; our goal being that every student from Orpheus is supported to 'move on' from the college to live independently with an established social support structure and activities and making a positive contribution to their community. For the first time in 2016 100% of our summer graduates achieved this goal and in 2017 85% of our graduates went on to live independently.
