The Next Stage Event was held at the centre in May to introduce students to life beyond Orpheus. A large number of organisations took part:

Active Prospects, Aldingbourne Work Aid, Bloomin' Arts, Care Management Group, CareTech Community Services, Choice Care Group, County Care, Dimensions, Dayspace and Millstead Care, Free Wheelers, Grace Eyre, Leonard Cheshire, McClure Solicitors, Mitchell's Care Homes, Outreach Short Breaks, Parity, S.A.I Infinity Care, Ridge Radio, Stop Gap, Surrey Sexual Health, Symbol UK, Voyage Care, YMCA.

The students found the event hugely informative and inspiring for their transition to greater independent living. Many were supported by their parents and they were able to freely ask questions and explore their options.
