Our curriculum is designed to promote the skills needed for work. A central element of this is a strong work ethic, reflected through dress codes, behaviour, communication and social interaction.

You will take part in work experience in our local community and in London. You will also participate in internal work placements to build the skills you will need in the workplace. On ‘Work Skills Wednesdays’, you will be trained to provide professional services to external clients such as music technology support in our recording studio. Other work focused options include singing for performance, composing and recording music, devising drama or dance performances, film-making, product design and journalism & media studies. Our students are able to offer performances and workshops to external paying customers, schools and charities.

We are building on the success of the Graeae Supported Internship and providing more opportunities for our students to engage in extended placements. The programme will be flexible to meet the students’ needs and aspirations.
