Volunteering at Orpheus

From session support in music, art, drama, life skills, computer skills and many more to befriending, gardening, reception, IT and administration, events, fundraising and assisting backstage in productions, there are a many ways you can get involved. Whether you want to offer your expertise or learn new skills in the process, there is sure to be the perfect volunteering role at Orpheus just for you.

Our minimum age for volunteering is 16 years.

Current Volunteering Roles:

We currently have three volunteering roles available at Orpheus. One is for the role of 'community event supporter', where you will help to raise awareness of our work and also help to raise funds. Another is for 'online retailer', which includes jobs such as photographing and writing descriptions for products. Finally we a role of 'volunteer video transcriber', your role would be to transcribe video content on our website and social media to make it accessible including editing automatically generated video captions on our content on e.g. YouTube. All of these roles would start ASAP and the days/hours of work can be negotiated. We would love your help, and so if you are interested then please email [email protected].
