At Orpheus we focus on ability, not disability. We use our students’ passion for performing and visual arts to develop their confidence, communication and social interaction skills. We prepare students for adulthood: to live independently, to find employment, to have an active social life, to contribute to their local community and to lead a healthy lifestyle. When students leave Orpheus they are supported to make a safe and successful transition. Of our graduates over the past three years, 83% are now living independently or in supported housing. Ofsted has awarded Orpheus an overall rating of Good (Grade Two) with our provision rated Good across the board.
