The Big Give had now ended - it raised over £12,000.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our Big Give fundraising appeal - you are all amazing!

Communication is vital for learning, social development and mental well-being.

Young disabled adults with autism and other social or communication needs, experience high levels of stress. They can display obsessive or challenging behaviour. This makes learning difficult, resulting in confusion, stress, and low self-esteem.

Through our Communication and Social Interaction (COIN) Hub, more often known as the Apollo group, as they're always reaching for the stars, we use our unique teaching methods to gradually integrate the students into the wider community at Orpheus.

Orpheus now has more applicants with these specialist needs than we're able to accommodate. Our aim is to teach an increasing number of students, so that no young adults with communication needs, miss out on our fantastic teaching approaches.

This will give young adults with these extra needs, a place to learn and provide them with the opportunity to be heard.

you can still donate towards our work on our website, however the opportunity to have your donation doubled has now ended.
