Join us for an enchanting summer afternoon of harp music on the terrace at Hammerwood Park, a Grade I listed historic house formerly owned by Led Zeppelin and rescued from dereliction by our hosts, David and Anne-Noelle Pinnegar.

The harp is one of the world’s oldest and most diverse instruments. In mythology harps often have magical powers and this queen of instruments is deep rooted in our musical and cultural history. The sound of just one harp is beautiful, but when many are brought together their sound brings a whole new dimension and experience to the performance. We are delighted to have members of the National Youth Harp Orchestra performing, as well as the clear and pure vocals of former Orpheus student, Charlotte.

Enjoy a glass of bubbly in the interval, or come early for a complimentary tour of the house.  If you would like a tour please book your place below. The tour will begin at 2pm. Tea and cake will be available to purchase after the tour.

The concert will be on the lawn so please bring rugs or picnic furniture to sit on. Picnics are permitted. Please note the lawn and outside areas can be uneven.

In case of wet weather the recital will take place inside the house.

With thanks to for sponsoring this event.
