Take part in our virtual challenge event and help us to ensure the stability of our services for our wonderful 48 students during this period of uncertainty.

At Orpheus we rely heavily on the income from our fundraising events. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have unfortunately had to cancel most of our upcoming events resulting in a hit to our income.

We want you to to get moving and use your daily exercise to cover 48 miles and raise funds for Orpheus!

Race at your own pace and claim your medal!

You can complete your virtual challenge in segments that suit you. Whether you run, walk, cycle or complete it in your wheelchair, take part at your own pace and in your own time. We just ask that you cover 48 miles by the end of August.

You can clock up the miles wherever you like – around the block, on a treadmill or even round the garden - just don’t forget to follow government guidelines including social distancing.

If you complete 48 miles before the 31st of August and raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship we'll send you an Orpheus medal in the post!

Why 48 miles?

To represent our 48 students who need our support more than ever in these challenging times.

How much will it cost?

The challenge is free to enter. We have a set a suggested sponsorship target of £50 but you can raise as much as you like!

How can I track my distance?

This event is being run on a fundraising platform called Give Penny which automatically links to the Strava or Runkeeper apps (which are free use) to track your miles. Your friends and family can follow your progress and sponsor you on your Give Penny fundraising page!
