Disability and arts News and blogs Orpheus Student Wows at Legal & General Pitch In February, Orpheus were invited to pitch for Legal & General’s Charity of the Month. This was due to Orpheus student Harry’s father working for the company and suggesting Orpheus to their Charity Committee. Harry traveled to London on 20th February with Jack (Corporate Fundraiser) and Martin (Transitions Coordinator) to deliver his pitch to Legal & General and he did a fantastic job! He spoke so passionately about Orpheus and what it means to him. He also told them all about the productions he had been involved with, how performing arts has helped him gain confidence, and crucially, about how Orpheus is a charity and needs to raise money to continue with the amazing work that we do. They loved Harry’s pitch - in particular his passion and his energy - so decided that they would like to fundraise for Orpheus during their next employee dress down day on 23rd March. What's more, the money raised will be matched by Legal & General! Harry will be going along to the office again on the day to set up an Orpheus stall in their canteen where people will be able to find out more about Orpheus and donate via a bucket collection. WELL DONE HARRY!
