Orpheus began as a residential care home, but in 2011 was converted into 100% supported housing. There are 30 self-contained studio flats on campus, each fitted with an accessible kitchen, wet-room bathroom, large bedroom area and living space. The flats can be found in three areas: Squire Barn, Centre Court, and Manor House.
Each flat comes partially furnished, and tenants enjoy personalising their flats, making them homely and unique to them. Each flat has a private front door and letter box, and tenants have their own key fob for secure locking and entry.
All of the flats are located within the grounds at Orpheus. The gardens are accessible for wheelchair users, and tenants enjoy spending time in them in the summer months. There is a lake, orchard, outdoor benches, and plenty of flowers and greenery all around. Our students also have access to sports equipment to enjoy in their leisure time and keep fit.
There is parking space for mobility vehicles on site.
