The Orpheus Centre

Jane and Raf Muir share their Orpheus experiences with Able Magazine

Raf and Jane Muir

As part of our short programme during the Orpheus holidays we welcome external students, both old and new, into the centre to spend a week living and working alongside proffesional artists, learning new performance skills which then get shown off in a public performance on the Friday night. January saw the introduction of a brand new course - Sensations Dance - where renowned choreographer Sheron Wray introduced students and audience alike to a brand new form of dance, based around mobile phone technology.

One of the students who attended the course was Raf Muir, who came to a snowy Orpheus Centre with his mum Jane to explore his passion for performance. They have both shared their experiences of the course with disability lifestyle magazine Able. Click here to read the article and get a feel of what it's like to come on an Orpheus Short course.

Thank you to Raf and Jane for sharing their Orpheus experiences with Able's readers!
