The Orpheus Centre

New Enabling Opportunity - Song Week

We are now looking for Enablers to help on our Song Writing Week in Sepember. This is an immensely popular course, attracting disabled young people from both in and outside of the centre and is ran by our founder, Richard Stilgoe.

'I had the time of my life, no experience has ever taught me so much and left me feeling so happy' Recent Enabler

Enablers are volunteers who attend our short courses, free of charge, in order to learn new skills and facilitate disabled people to participate in the performing arts by supporting Short Course students and Orpheus students in artistic sessions and during break times. Not only do you get to meet and work with a diverse range of both disabled and non-disabled young people but it looks amazing on your CV and for future careers in performing arts.

This course is particularly special as you will be taught song writing skills by one of the most successful musical song writers; Richard has helped write Cats and Phantom of the Opera as well as many other internationally acclaimed shows.

Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity, contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator on 01883 744664 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
