Domiciliary Services Inspection

Orpheus Domiciliary Support Services were graded as good in Decembers' CQC inspection. This is the first time that this service has been graded so therefore being graded as good is a huge achievement. Kerry and Vic really were put through their paces on Tuesday but they came through it with big smiles on their faces. The whole team have worked extremely hard to make this happen and they will carry on until they have received an excellent.  Well done everyone!

Women in busines raise Orpheus Awareness

 

Many thanks to organiser Vivian Slattery and everyone who attended the recent Croydon Women in Business exhibition on the 24th September. Vivian very kindly chose us as the sole recipients of the funds raised at the event, a massive £700! The day was a huge success and the money will be a great help in funding our ongoing work here at the centre.

It's Official: Orpheus is excellent

 

Orpheus was recently visited by CQC, the Care Quality Commission, provoking many crossed fingers and nerves. But we needn't have worried, as Orpheus was awarded an excellent 3 stars, the highest rating CQC can award. Well done to all at the centre for working hard and making our excellence official!

Their resourcefulness and strength is tested to the limit as they come face-to-face with dangers and delights beyond their wildest dreams... Who will they meet? What will happen? And how will they find their way home?

This Christmas, The Orpheus Centre invites you to join them on an intriguing journey into the mysterious world of Hansel and Gretel. Entirely designed and created by Orpheus students, from songs to set, this production demonstrates the unique and varied talents of the student artists. This show is suitable forthose aged 6 and above.
