Orpheus students regularly perform their own original material and have performed at venues as varied as the Royal Opera House, the Rose Theatre, Glastonbury and Buckingham Palace.
We also produce professional full scale productions. Twice a year we perform a large show – our Summer Show and our Christmas Show. These innovative new productions are created and performed by our students and use live music, performance, film and visual art to tell original and highly engaging stories. Have a look at our events page for details of our up and coming performances.
Audience members watching past shows say they have been “overwhelmed by the talent of each and every student” and find our productions “absolutely marvellous – original and outstanding.”
We have regular intensive weeks which focus on a particular theme/genre such as horror, world music or masked characters. Supported by outside tutors, the week starts with a blank sheet of paper and culminates in a public performance of an original show.
In addition, students are encouraged to submit art work for public exhibitions and in the past our students have exhibited at a number of exhibitions including the Daisy Arts show in Leatherhead.
