Orpheus Barn Recording Studio
The Barn Recording Studio features a highly flexible digital recording environment and is ideally suited to both solo artists and bands. The Studio features an industry standard Mac-based ProTools system with good quality studio microphones and outboard equipment.
For larger recordings, The Barn Recording Studio is fully integrated with The Barn Theatre, and can be used to record large groups and ensembles.
The studio is managed and operated by a fully qualified and experienced professional sound engineer, who will make sure that your every need is catered for, both during your visit, and after.
Subject to negotiation, editing work can be undertaken by the engineer at a reduced rate. The studio is also available without engineer, again, subject to negotiation.
Hire rate: £30 per hour for Recording Studio (including engineer)
Additional engineer's services: £15 per hour.
Orpheus Dry Studio
The Dry Studio is smaller in size that the Barn Theatre and is therefore better suited to providing smaller and more intimate events, including:-• Training Days • Workshops
• Small Meetings
• Exhibitions & Displays
• Presentations
• RehearsalsThe neutral and pine décor, natural light and original artwork gives this spacious room a warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Having a sprung wooden floor also makes it the perfect venue for rehearsals and practical events.Hire rate: £15 per hour
£25 additional charge if the booking is outside office hours
