Events Fundraiser

Job Type: Permanent; Full-Time, 35 hours, 52 weeks

Salary: £23,500 per annum

This exciting new role requires a highly motivated, experienced fundraiser to join our dedicated marketing and fundraising team at the Orpheus Centre. You will take responsibility for ensuring we  raise in excess of £100,000 per year at high level challenge events and special events, and in excess of £30,000 via challenge events and activities, by delivering, organising and marketing an exciting and innovative range of events and activities, monitoring their success and increasing our database of supporters.

Support Worker & Night Support Worker

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time roles available

Salary: £8.32 an hour

If you share our passion for changing the lives of disabled people come and join our Domiciliary Services supporting young disabled adults to gain life skills within a supported living environment. We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team – a variety of hours are available. Training is provided including opportunities to study NVQs. Student Recruitment Officer

Job Type: Part-Time, Maternity Cover (8 months), 21 hours per week, 42 weeks per year

Salary: £8818.00 per annum

This role is crucial to the smooth running of the recruitment, application and enrollment process of students onto the learning programme.  An experienced administrator, you will provide effective administration and organisation on a day to day basis,   collating information and data in respect of a range of aspects of student recruitment. The responsibility for the recruitment and applications process extends beyond the centre and the role will include attending external events to promote the Orpheus centre. Working in our vibrant college for young disabled adults, you will be joining an enthusiastic, professional team at a very exciting time of growth of the centre.

Learning Support Assistant

Job Type: Permanent, 35 hours per week, 42 weeks per year

Salary £16 344 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our professional and lively Learning Team.  You will provide practical support in learning sessions, liaise with tutors to create engaging and motivational teaching sessions and contribute to Individual Learning Plans. Working in our vibrant college for young adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities, you will be joining us at an exciting time of growth and development.

Student Support Worker (Transition Pathways Project)

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (to 28th July, 2017), 40 hours per week

Salary: £17 658.50 per annum                                        

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join, and contribute to the continued success of, the Transition Pathways Project here at the Orpheus Centre to the end of July 2017. As a member of this small team you will transport, accompany and enable students to attend work experience; support students with their Transition by researching employment and volunteer opportunities; support students to access and participate fully in our Life Skills programme both in sessions and out in the community. In this truly varied role you will need to be flexible as supporting students to gain life and independence skills and to take part in activities in the community isn’t always a 9 to 5 job.
